Volunteers are helping improve Salt Point—making it more accessible and beautiful for all (including wildlife).

Volunteers.BirdHouseC.smHere's how you can help:

· Planting/Donations of plants,
· Maintenance of plants / Pruning,
· Bench construction and donation,
· Trail construction and maintenance,
· Bird box cleaning,
· Trash pick-up,
· Beach weeding (cocklebur, burdock, etc.),
· Invasives control (Japanese Knotweed),
· Planning and fundraising.

Salt Point News

Show your love of the Point!
Beautiful Salt Point ball caps and winter knit caps are available. Available from Lansing Town Recreation Department, Salt Point Brewery, or People's Market in Lansing. Makes a great gift.

Volunteers are needed:  Help maintain and improve Salt Point. Email for more information.
 
Volunteer Day: Coming this Fall! Bring gloves, mask, tools, water. Help maintain Salt Point.
 
Native Plants at Salt Point: With help from Town of Lansing and Community Foundation of Tompkins County, we've replaced invasive plants in 6 plots at Salt Point with native, non-invasive species.
